7 New Muay Thai Gyms To Check Out In 2025
Now that we're approaching the new year, we've compiled a list of new Muay Thai gyms in Singapore to check out in 2025. Save this guide if you're looking for a different gym to try!
1. IQ Fight Club
IQ Fight Club soft launches on 2 January, making them the first Muay Thai gym in Singapore to open in 2025. Located on the second floor of a spacious shophouse in Jalan Besar, a 10-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT Station, the new gym is headed by Kru Jet, previously of Revolution Gym in Phuket.
Classes run for 45 minutes to 1 hour, from Monday to Saturday, and are split into four categories: Muay Thai Express, Muay Thai Juniors, Muay Thai Essential, and Sparring/Clinching.

2. Fight Therapy
Having just opened in November 2024, Fight Therapy is one of the newest entrants to the scene. The new Muay Thai gym is located in the heart of Katong, making it perfect for Easties looking for a comfortable, beginner-friendly experience.
Run by the same team behind Gifted Fight Academy (GFA), Fight Therapy promises a boutique experience with its clean, cosy space—complete with a ring—and friendly vibes. Drop by for a fun sweat sesh if you're in the area!
Pro tip: There's a Vietnamese cafe opposite the gym, so you can grab a delicious iced coffee and banh mi on your way out.

3. Rokket Muay Thai
Rokket Muay Thai started as a mobile gym focusing on private trainings and small group sessions. They've officially upgraded to a small space along Kampong Bahru, a short walk from Outram Park MRT Station—great news for those working or studying in the area!
Though pocket-sized—the unit comfortably fits around six to eight students—classes are often packed with fun and laughter here, thanks to Coach Irsyad's lively energy.

4. Khao Noi Gym
Khao Noi Gym is another new pocket-sized Muay Thai gym to check out in 2025. Classes are run by WMO Pro-Amateur Muay Thai Featherweight Champion Nigel Tan, Duncan Toh, and Joshua Chee, both of whom are active fighters.
The gym is located on the ground floor of an ulu industrial shophouse in Kallang, but if you know the shortcut, the walk is said to be an easy 5-10 minute from Stadium MRT Station.
The community is said to be warm and welcoming, with a homely vibe. Group sessions take place on weekday evenings and weekend mornings.

5. MMT Muay Thai Gym
Heads up, Westies: MMT Muay Thai Gym is a recent addition to d'Arena, a recreation centre along Upper Jurong Road. The nearest MRT Station is Joo Koon, which is a 12-minute walk away.
Although they're fairly new to Singapore's Muay Thai community, they've already made a name for themselves in the scene with their team of active fighters. Head Coach Kru Max has an impressive resume of over 300 professional fights, on top of nearly 20 years of coaching experience.

6. Kaoklai Studio
Kaoklai Studio is helmed by former light heavyweight Muay Thai champion Kaoklai Kaennorsing. Affectionately known as Kru Mam, Kaoklai has amassed a total of 133 fights, including winning the K-1 World Grand Prix in 2004 in Seoul. You'll also be trained by Phet Phangan Tded99 AKA Kru Max, who's had an illustrious career of 160 fights—he recently retired with a final victory at Rajadamnerm Stadium.
The gym is located along Beach Road, an 8-min walk from Nicoll Highway MRT Station. FYI: Classes run on all days except Monday!

7. Tiger Muay Thai Singapore
Tiger Muay Thai Singapore, formerly known as Chok Sagami Academy, is probably the first and only Muay Thai gym in Pasir Panjang at the point of writing. Head coach Chok Sagami was a famous name back in his heyday, frequenting the Lumpinee, Rajadamnerm, Omnoi, and TV7 stadiums before retiring to become a coach in 2017.
Despite being relatively new—the gym soft launched in June 2024—they've already garnered some online buzz for their hard sparring and fight events. Look out for their upcoming WBC-sanctioned event that's taking place on 11 January 2025.
